Areas of Practice
Gabriella, a principal with Keough & Moody, P.C., joined the firm in 1996 and began her representation of community associations. Gabriella’s practice also concentrates on representing community associations in both litigation and non-litigation matters. She provides comprehensive legal counsel to community associations throughout the Chicagoland area.
Education and Admissions
Gabriella earned her J.D. from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law after graduating Cum Laude from Loyola University of Chicago. She is licensed to practice law in all state courts in the State of Illinois and is also admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Gabriella is a member of several legal organizations, including the Federal Trial Bar, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, and the DuPage County Bar Association. Gabriella has been admitted to the College of Community Association Lawyers (CCAL), an organization of attorneys who specialize in community association law in the United States. While membership is open to qualified attorneys, acceptance highlights her expertise and commitment to the field, as only around 200 lawyers are recognized in this capacity.
Industry Involvement
Gabriella frequently presents and writes for industry groups, including the Illinois Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) and MCD Media. She is active with CAI’s national organization and has presented at CAI’s Law Seminar multiple times, most recently in 2026. Gabriella also serves as a co-chair for the Community Association Law Seminar hosted by CAI from 2026 to 2028. Additionally, she is a member of the CAI CCAL Amicus Curiae Committee and regularly presents and writes on community association-related topics for the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education, which provides continuing legal education for attorneys in Illinois.
